AMITA Health, based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, is a faith based integrated health system created by Adventist Midwest Health and Alexian Brothers Health System and is the third largest hospital system in the state. AMITA Health is managed through a joint operating company created in February of 2015 and serves the western and northwestern suburbs of Chicago. AMITA Health has one of the state’s largest physician networks of approximately 3000 primary care physicians, specialist and sub-specialists. The AMITA Health Medical Group provides 125 primary and specialty care service locations, medical imaging, eight occupational health centers, outpatient services and community-based medical practices throughout Chicago’s suburbs.
