Anne Arundel Medical Center was founded in 1902 as the Annapolis Emergency Hospital. Today, we serve a regional population of more than one million area residents. We continue to expand to meet growing needs, yet remain steadfast in our enduring mission to enhance the health of the people we serve. Our goal is to provide affordable and accessible acute inpatient and outpatient care, across several convenient, patient-centric locations and a system of Institutes, Centers and Ancillary Services.
