River’s Edge Hospital and Clinic (REHC) has delivered over seventy years of quality care including family medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and much more to the residents of St. Peter and the surrounding communities. REHC has been nationally recognized as a progressive leader in quality, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.

We continue to strive for cutting edge health care for our patients, while maintaining a superior quality of care unlike any other facility in the area. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art hospital with all private, revolutionary rooms to make our patients as comfortable as possible. We have an abundance of services to help patients receive the quality care they need under one roof.

REHC is a city owned 17-bed Critical Access Hospital that is governed by a 9-member appointed Board. Gross patient revenues = 42 million, net patient revenues = 26 million with A/R days = 58 (net) and over 100 DCOH. REHC is experiencing a significant turn-around after several years of negative financial performance. We experienced over 50% growth in 2015 and project similar growth in 2016. Hospital accounting software is Epic & Lawson Financials.

THE COMMUNITY

The City of Saint Peter (population 11,400) was incorporated in 1873 and is located in the beautiful Minnesota River valley. Saint Peter is the county seat of Nicollet County and the second largest city in the County. We are located 10 miles from the Mankato-North Mankato regional center and 65 miles from the St. Paul/Minneapolis metro area. State Highways 99, 169, and 22 all intersect in Saint Peter making our community a hub for other destinations in the state.
