Company Overview

Peterson Regional Medical Center is a not-for-profit organization located in Kerrville, Texas. It is composed of a 120 bed acute care Hospital, Home Health and Hospice, an Ambulatory Surgery Center , a Community Care Clinic and a for profit division which has a Physicians and other mid-level providers to provide primary and obstetric care to members of our community. Kerrville is an easy 45 mile drive northwest of San Antonio, and offers a variety of cultural and recreational activities in one of the most desirable locations in Texas, the Texas Hill Country.

For over six decades, the Peterson name has been synonymous with helping and healing in the Hill Country. From the time Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital opened in July 1949 until the new facility, Peterson Regional Medical Center, opened their doors in the new location in April 2008, the healthcare and community needs for people in Kerrville and parts of Kerr, Bandera, Medina, Edwards, Real, Kimble, Kendall, and Gillespie counties have been realized. Many people dedicated to exceptional, compassionate, patient-centered care generation after generation make the Peterson legacy live on.
