A Portrait of Memorial Health

Memorial Health is a dynamic, independent, not-for-profit health system located in Marysville, Ohio. With a history of steady growth, Memorial Health is committed to providing exceptional care to the communities it serves. Our main hospital campus features a state-of-the-art inpatient tower and a separate outpatient tower, both opened in 2020, exemplifying our ongoing investment in cutting-edge healthcare infrastructure. In addition to our flagship campus, Memorial Health operates over 20 satellite outpatient locations, including multi-service medical centers and freestanding primary and specialty care practices.

The Memorial Medical Group consists of approximately 60 employed physicians and mid-level providers, with office locations throughout Marysville, Plain City, Richwood, and Urbana. We are also supported by the Memorial Health Foundation, a 501(c)(3) entity dedicated to advancing our mission through philanthropy and strategic investments. The Foundation has fostered strong relationships with donors and local businesses, further bolstering the financial strength and sustainability of the health system.

Serving Union County and five surrounding counties, Memorial Health reaches a rapidly growing primary service area of over 90,000 residents. The system employs more than 1,000 dedicated team members across its various entities, all working together to create an environment where patients receive high-quality care from a team of skilled physicians who enjoy a desirable work-life balance.

Located just 20 minutes northwest of Columbus and situated in the fastest growing county in the state, Memorial Health benefits from its location and high percentage of commercially insured patients. Union County offers a vibrant community with a rich mix of historic charm, public parks, and a variety of dining and shopping options.

Since 2004, Memorial Health has seen remarkable financial growth, with net patient service revenue increasing from just over $54 million to over $220 million in 2024. This growth is supported by strong financial stewardship, as demonstrated by Memorial’s consistent receipt of the Ohio Auditor of State Award for excellence in financial management, 12 of the last 13 years. With this success, Memorial is poised to continue its expansion, supported by a comprehensive master facility plan that anticipates the system’s needs for the next several decades.
