The Organization
Box Butte General Hospital is a non-profit, critical access hospital that is accredited by The Joint Commission. Our hospital exists to operate and maintain economically feasible health care services for the residents of the area. We provide a quality and nurturing environment for patients, medical staff, and the public in a full continuum of care with a 25-bed critical access hospital. We have an extensive medical service line that includes everything from family practice medicine to surgical and non-surgical specialties. We offer three clinic locations to meet the needs of our patients in and around our county. The extensive continuum and mission is supported by a team of 294 employees.

The Community
Alliance is a place unlike anything you've seen. We are located in the beautiful Western Nebraska Sandhills and are known for scenic drives, rich art, bustling businesses, local brews, historical architecture and a friendly environment. We have amazing attractions for golf lovers to hunters and everything in between that demonstrates the magic of living in a small town. We are also known for being the “Gateway to Everything” with our location you can catch a $49 flight to Denver or take a quick three hour drive to the Black Hills of South Dakota. With ~ 8,500 residents, Alliance is the metropolis of Box Butte County.
