Ingalls Memorial Hospital, the area’s only independent not-for-profit healthcare system, located on a 37 acre beautiful campus in Harvey, Illinois; just off I-294 & 159th Street; 20 minutes south of Chicago.

Ingalls includes a 563-bed hospital and a network of comprehensive outpatient centers that feature a full array of high-tech diagnostic and treatment services and the area's only Urgent Aid Centers for 24/7 access to minor emergency care.

U.S. News & World Report's first-ever metro-area rankings lists Ingalls among the best hospitals in Chicagoland. We're the only south suburban hospital to receive high marks for six different specialties: cancer, diabetes, ear, nose and throat, orthopedics, neurology and neurosurgery, and geriatrics. We are a recipient of HealthGrades “America’s 50 Best Hospitals” Award in 2014 and “America’s 100 Best Hospitals” Award in 2012 and 2013 and Distinguished Hospital Award-Clinical Excellence for 7 years in a row (2007-2012). Ingalls was cited for excellence in 33 distinct areas including as a Top Five Percent in the Nation for Emergency Care and Top 10% in the nation for Critical Care, Pulmonary Services and Orthopedic Services.
