About Ellsworth County Medical Center – 1406 Aylward Avenue, Ellsworth, Kansas
Ellsworth County Medical Center (ECMC), located in Ellsworth, Kansas, began serving the needs of Ellsworth County and surrounding communities in 1897. ECMC consists of the medical center (19-bed critical access hospital), adjoining rural health clinic and three remote clinics. Currently, the medical center has three medical doctors, three physician assistants, and a nurse practitioner serving a growing population of 6,500.
The medical center has a 24/7 emergency room and trauma room with ACLS trained staff, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, cardiac rehabilitation therapy, respiratory therapy and a fully staffed nursing unit (skilled care, acute care, respite care).
ECMC's diagnostic services include extensive laboratory services, radiology (digital mammography, MRI, digital bone density, x-ray and ultrasound).
We have an exceptional Outpatient Clinic, which hosts several Specialties including Audiology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Licensed Counselor, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Podiatry, Rheumatology and Wound Care.
ECMC is also home to four Rural Health Clinic locations - Ellsworth, Holyrood, Lucas and Wilson. Ellsworth's Rural Health Clinic hosts a Saturday morning clinic, called SatCare.
