Our Hospital
Chelan Public District Hospital No. 1 (doing business as Cascade Medical (CM)) is a nonprofit and federally-designated Rural Health Clinic, providing outpatient primary care services. CM also serves as a community resource for Emergency Medical Services, Acute Care, Rehabilitation (including Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy), and a variety of Diagnostic Services.
Our Board of Commissioners has the primary legal and moral responsibility for the governance of our medical organization and for shepherding the medical center's principles to ensure they are carried out. The Administration is responsible for daily operations of the medical center. CM’s beautiful new building was completed in 2011, providing a structure for not only exceptional medical care, but breathtaking views of the Cascades and charming Leavenworth.
Our Family Practice Clinic
CM is committed to helping our community and patients manage their health and wellness and delivering exceptional healthcare by taking more time with each of our patients and their families. Our Family Practice Clinic was recently recognized as one of the top performing clinics in Washington by the Washington Healthcare Alliance.
Our newly constructed Clinic provides 18 treatment rooms where we provide primary medical care, osteopathic manipulation, women's healthcare, and minor surgeries such as skin lesion removal. Additional procedures including endoscopy/colonoscopy as well as treadmill testing are performed in our hospital. With eight providers and a full medical staff, our physicians live and play in our recreation-based area and have an average tenure of over ten years with CM.
CM is committed to treating the whole person. Our Family Practice Clinic offers behavioral health services to patients and their families. Our doctoral-level psychologist offers psychological services for children and adults. We also provide same-day walk-in appointments for the convenience of our patients, and are contracted with many health insurers including Medicare and Medicaid.
Our Community
CM is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Leavenworth, WA. Leavenworth is a small, Bavarian-themed town of approximately 1,900 permanent residents, nestled on the sunny side of the Cascade Mountains in central Washington.
