Company History
We were established in February of 1949 by ten local doctors who realized their collective dream when they opened the doors of Boulder Medical Center for the first time. An innovative business model for its day, this new medical community brought together the area’s top primary and specialty care physicians under one roof. Establishing a close doctor-patient relationship and delivering the highest quality care was their top priority.
After 70 years in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of medicine, the founders’ core principles continue to guide our unique vision. Boulder Medical Center continues to be locally owned and independent, a healthcare model that gives our providers the freedom to put patients’ needs first.
